Can't break the secret window in Griffin Chapel

There is a secret breakable window in Griffin Chapel (Hexen, hub 3) which opens a small room with a porkulator. In GZDOOM I can't break it with any weapon of any class. WTF?
PS, June 6 build, but I noticed this in much earlier (perhaps even mid-2014) builds.

The only way to do this is to get Wings of Wrath on the Seminary, then go to G. C., start flying and smash the window with a melee weapon. All Hexen walkthroughs state that this window can be broken with any weapon as all other windows of this type.
