Your videocard supports up to OpenGL 2.0 only.
Do not use GZDoom 2.2, which requires OpenGL 3.0 and up

For your videocard:
try GZDoom 1-9 http://forum.drdteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=6825
or GZDoom 1-10 http://devbuilds.drdteam.org/gzdoom-vintage/

Also, using one of the above, if you get a crash with that many files loaded on top of each other,
then start GZDoom with just one file, and add one file more after a successful load. If a crash
should occur, then shuffle the files. Load order may become important.

Recent 2.2pre builds require OpenGL 2.0 and FBO extension. I own ancient notebook with Radeon 4330 (by the way it supports OpenGL 3.1 even on crappy old drivers provided by vendor) and it runs recent dev builds without a problem.

According to this website http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Mobili ... 536.0.html the videocard supports up to OpenGL 2.0.
AMD seemingly is not interested in supplying information about older hardware.

I know that you and Graf Zahl have been exchanging some ideas about OpenGL programming, but I was not aware of any official status. So it is rather confusing when the download site still specifies these

OpenGL 2.x support in current devbuilds is work in progress. Some minor stuff is still missing and at the moment there is no data how performance compares with 1.x.

This is clearly not recommended for actually playing the game, for that get either 1.9.1 or the latest 1.10 devbuild.
