[gzdoom-g2.2pre-1846-gbce9929]Crash when looking at a specfic point

Post by chl »

So today my mod started crashing when looking at a certain location on the map. The thing is that it didn't happen yesterday yet I have done no work in that area. The game will not crash however, if the player start is looking at this point. I hope the crash report is enough to spot the problem.

No such luck. I have no idea what's up but with the current devbuilds I often have problems matching the map file to the crash logs so I have no idea where it crashed.

Are there anything I can do to help with the problem or should I wait for a new build?

Send me the mod with instructions what to do to get the crash.

I've only tested this by launching it from DB so the wad is separate from the pk3, don't know if that matters though.

All you have to do when it launches is press and hold strafe right, nothing else.

To make it not crash, move the start location to where the point the crash is and launch it.

This does not crash with the very latest code, although a version from a few days back does. So it looks it got already fixed.
