[no]Smoother colors on slopes

This is hard to explain but I think the picture says it all. When the lake is sitting there, it looks fine. When the lake is being drained, I get big uncolored spots on some slopes.

You can't do that. You are creating intersecting floor planes which are not supported. This would require subsector splitting which is not going to happen.
