I don't know if you have gotten to the bottom of this or not, but I noticed something else that may or may not be related. Again, I was on my test map and got the warping flat overspill problem.

I was just playing with the options to try and find what might have an effect and I changed "Textures Enabled" from yes to no. I don't know what it is supposed to do, but the effect was this:

So, forgetting about my mod for a bit, I went into good old Doom2 to see what "Textures enabled" is supposed to do and saw this:

Every time I fired a weapon - or the bad guys did - another texture disappeared from a wall or floor. Switching dynamic lights off fixed the problem.

I've just encountered this bug while working on one of my maps for Stronghold. I have a 3D floor with a warping flat on it, and everytime this floor is in my view I get this bug. When the floor is not in my view the map looks normal. Turning shaders off and then on again seems to fix the problem though.
