I had got a bunch of it done, but then got busy with work and a bunch of new versions of GZDoom came out in the meantime, so I'd pretty much have to start over again.

Could you give me the code? Maybe it still can be salvaged.

I don't know if you have gotten to the bottom of this or not, but I noticed something else that may or may not be related. Again, I was on my test map and got the warping flat overspill problem.

I was just playing with the options to try and find what might have an effect and I changed "Textures Enabled" from yes to no. I don't know what it is supposed to do, but the effect was this:

So, forgetting about my mod for a bit, I went into good old Doom2 to see what "Textures enabled" is supposed to do and saw this:

Every time I fired a weapon - or the bad guys did - another texture disappeared from a wall or floor. Switching dynamic lights off fixed the problem.

I got the same result when I turned off "Textures Enabled", when you pick up all the Health bonuses in the little room at the end of the hall, the wall and floor textures are restored

Textures enabled only affects surfaces with dynamic lights. It was originally supposed to skip the texturing pass but after doing some performance checks I put all the unlit surfaces into a separate pass to speed things up.

For info, I just upgraded to the 84.21 forceware drivers. The problem seems to have changed slightly - I find it a little harder to make it happen, and it tends to flicker momentarily on an off rather than stay on for extended periods, but it is still there.

I can tell you right now that there is some place in the code where I forgot to turn off the shaders. Drivers shouldn't really matter.

Has anyone been experiencing this bug in the latest version? (or something similar)

Yup.

I usually just play with shaders off now. :(

I've just encountered this bug while working on one of my maps for Stronghold. I have a 3D floor with a warping flat on it, and everytime this floor is in my view I get this bug. When the floor is not in my view the map looks normal. Turning shaders off and then on again seems to fix the problem though.

I just tried the map with 1.0.14 and the bug is still there. It seems to only happen for me when the warping flat is used on a 3d floor. If I use the flat on a regular floor it works just fine.

I'm still getting this bug in 1.0.22. It's screwing up my maps. It occurs in all areas where there are warping flats and dynamic lights relatively close.
