Alright, Ill go at this suggestion from a different angle this time, say I want to make an Arrow projectile, and I want it to cause a blood plat if it hits a fleshy monster (Possibly determined by the +Noblood flag), I want it to cause a hitscan blood spatter, but when it hits anything else, I want it to cause a bullet puff.

Possibly an +arrow flag or something like that, that determines whether it puffs or "Bleeds" depending on what it hits?

Well, you could try giving it 0 damage and a custom bullet attack in its death state. That might work, though the collision detection might screw up the whole thing at point blank range.

This has been added for the latest version of (G)ZDoom. The flag is called BLOODSPLATTER.

I can't seem to make any sense on what he is trying to achieve here.

Can someone explain it ot me?

Wasn't it already possible to do projectiles that cause hitscan blood splats all along before this?
