[FEATURE CHANGE] Misspelling monsters with kill command

If you misspell monsters (yes, i can spell it) but if you accidently misspell monster, it kills you instead, can it be changes so if anything is typed after the kill command, it assumes monsters and kills em?

I can change it so that you have to write 'kill player'.

Kill with anything else should kill the specified monster class. That would make it at least useful.

I requested that for zdoom about a milenia ago when I first joined. Glad you reminded me :)

something like that. And KILL John Remro should kill the boss brain in DOOM II map 30. After all, thats what the deamon says in reverse. ;)

If anything, it would probably be "Kill Bossbrain" because that's Romero's actor name in ZDoom (so I can remember, anyway).

This certainly sounds cool. I always disliked the way that worked in regular zDoom.

Now, hopefully, if you misspell something, the console will print out:

unknown actor "badguys"
instead of killing you. :D

I will admit ZDooM has a better way of killing oneself\monsters than Edge's shitty method. I do like this whole class specific idea though.

Now let's just hope no one makes a "monsters" actor to prevent it :P

Yea, i remember a wad (dont know which one, scince i've downloaded EVERY level in the IDGAMES archive) when you typed idkfa it had a script checking for a blue key in your inventory. Because there was no blue key in the map, it knew you where cheating, and killed you.
Now that's cool. :)

Well, Kill me should do the same thing as kill player, methinks... but then again, ZDoom's console is not Zork.
