In this project, something about the Quake2Soldier model makes gzdoom die. If that definition is commented out of the modeldef, the crash goes away. I though maybe skin.pcx was the problem so I resaved it with a skin tool and a slightly different palette but that didn't help.

The file crashes because the model contains a broken name for one skin file. I fixed the internal buffer overrun that caused the crash though.


All your models contain excessively long skin file names so you may want to check the software you use to create them.

The program lets me use any path so this is working now
