Spawn spots and 3dfloors

There doesn't seem to be anyway to get a player spawn spot to exist on-top of a 3dfloor. Its like they completely ignore Zheight. Any ideas what why this isn't working for me?

Unless this has changed, even though that bug is now fixed, player starts cannot be placed on 3D floors. You either have to instantly teleport the player to the 3D floor on map startup, or sit the player on a raised platform that passes through the 3D floor and instantly lowers on map startup leaving the player on the 3D floor. It has been discussed a few times but I can't find the threads ATM.

Well I was already using the instant spawning trick. Didn't want to, but I suppose I have to.
